James Embry serves as the Program Manager for the implementation of AFRPS (Animal Feed Regulatory Program Standards) at the Office of the Texas State Chemist. The feed standards establish a uniform foundation for the design and management of State programs responsible for the regulation of animal feed. The implementation of the AFRPS helps to ensure a uniform and consistent approach to feed regulation among jurisdictions such as the sharing of information and the coordination of resources. James previously worked in the OTSC laboratory as a member of the metal analysis unit. James earned his BS in Biological and Physical Science from the University of Houston.
