Profile

Lisette Aeschlimann serves as a Program Manager for the Office of the Texas State Chemist. Her responsibilities include serving as the AFRPS (Animal Feed Regulatory Program Standards) Coordinator working to maintain the full implementation of the feed standards which establishes a uniform foundation for the design and management of the state’s regulatory program regarding animal food. She also assists in coordinating the Laboratory Flexible Funding Model Program to improve the capacity and capabilities of the state’s animal feed testing laboratory in support of an integrated food safety system. Lisette also serves as the intermediary between AAS & FFCS to ensure a high standard of communication between the departments. Lisette earned her BS in Plant and Environmental Soil Science from Texas A&M University.
