James Embry is an Analytical Chemists III and leads the metal analysis unit, preparation laboratory, laboratory support staff, and laboratory safety program. James has participated in numerous collaborative studies including the validation of AOAC method 2006.03, the determination of Arsenic, Cadmium, Cobalt, Chromium, Lead, Molybdenum, Nickel and Selenium in fertilizers by ICP-OES. He also participated in the validation of NIST sample 695, Trace Elements in Multi-Nutrient Fertilizer. James earned his BS in Biological and Physical Science from the University of Houston.
