Profile

Wei Li is in the position of Postdoctorial Research Associate. Wei will be conducting projects that mainly involve employing mass spectrometry to monitor mycotoxins and contaminant residues in animal feed and human food. He also will be developing and validating various sample preparation methods. Wei obtained his Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Chemistry at Wuhan University in Hubei Province, China. Wei pursued his PhD in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. His research is focused on qualitative and quantitative detection of small molecules generated from peroxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) by LC/MS.
